Instead, panels are located at community solar farms across New York State. The solar power generated is delivered into your local power grid, and you receive dollar credits on your utility bill.

HOW YOUR SAVINGS WORK
No panels on your house needed! Our solar farms generate power from the sun and supply clean solar power into the NYSEG utility grid.
Solar energy is allocated to your NYSEG account based on your electricity usage. You will receive a credit on your NYSEG account for the $ value of the solar electricity allocated, reducing the amount owed to NYSEG.
Then the savings begin with a guaranteed 10% discount! You get one simple consolidated bill from NYSEG with the solar power received, discounted by 10%, saving you money every month.
